Asthma
Diagnosis

To know for sure if you have asthma, your doctor will ask you lots of questions about your symptoms, and might also listen to your chest to see if your lungs 'wheeze'.

The wheezing sound is just the air trying to flow through airways that are tighter than normal. Your doctor will also probably use the peak flow test to help him or her see how bad your asthma is.
