School life is pretty good for John: he's got floppy hair, everyone knows his name and he's never short of girls to carry his books. The only part of school he doesn't like (and he doesn't like it a lot) is the changing room. That's because John has a curved spine - a condition called scoliosis that John knows nothing about.

Luckily the Medikidz, a group of super-powered action-heroes with attitude, are on-hand to help John get to grips with what's going on! Pump, Chi, Skinderella, Gastro, Axon and their trusty robot Abacus each have their own unique abilities and characteristics to ensure that their particular brand of edutainment is always banter-driven, medically accurate and straight to the point.

Join John as the Medikidz take him on a whistle-stop tour of Mediland - a distant planet whose geography and inhabitants bear a striking similarity to the intricacies of the human body. John and the superhero team abseil down a monolithic spinal column to discover the details of all the bones, joints and discs that make up the human spine. Along the way he'll meet the bone doctor, find out about the various treatments for scoliosis, dance at the cervical disco and realise that even a curved spine won't slow him down forever...
