Refractive Error
A refractive error is a problem your eye has in focusing light on your retina. So, you need to wear glasses or contact lenses to help your eyes focus properly.
Examples of refractive errors are shortsightedness and astigmatism. If you don't have the refractive error corrected, you will not be able to see properly and you could even lose some of your vision permanently.
