Puberty
Explanation

Puberty is the time when your body starts to have the changes that lead to you becoming an adult. It is triggered by the release of lots of different hormones. These hormones stimulate growth or change in lots of different parts of your body, including your brain, bones, muscles, skin, breasts and reproductive organs. Although there is a wide range of normal ages, girls usually go through puberty between the ages of 9 and 14, and boys between the ages of 10 and 17.
