Pancreas
Your pancreas is your body's control centre for using, storing and releasing energy. After you have eaten your breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or even a snack in-between, your pancreas goes to work. It releases digestive juices into your small intestine, and special cells in your pancreas, called B cells, make insulin.
