Nephron
Explanation

Nephrons are where blood filtering takes place in your kidneys. They are found at the end of blood vessels, and separate blood cells from plasma.

There are about one million nephrons in each of your two kidneys. The first part of the nephron separates the larger parts of blood (red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets) from the smaller parts (water, supplies and wastes).
