Large Intestine
Your large intestine (also called your colon) is the part of the gastrointestinal tract that processes waste food. Food leaving your small intestine moves into your large intestine. There, water is re-absorbed and waste (poo!) is prepared to leave your body. You need to eat lots of fibre to keep your large intestine working properly.
