Joint
Explanation

A joint is wherever two bones meet. Joints are your body's hinges. Joint bones fit together snugly so they can't be pulled apart, and they are held together by bridges called ligaments.

There are three types of joint in your body. Some joints don't move at all, they are called fibrous joints. Other joints move just a little bit, like those that connect your vertebrae - these are cartilaginous joints. The third type is synovial joints.
