Humidifier
Explanation

A humidifier is a machine that makes the air moist. Humidifiers are used with sleep apnoea masks and CPAP machines to make it easier to breathe through them if you have an obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). A CPAP machine sends air into a sleep apnoea masks to open up your airways while you are asleep. Because the airflow may be harsh on your nose and make it dry, newer CPAP machines have humidifiers to make the air moist and more pleasant to your airways. This prevents common side effects of using a sleep apnoea masks such as sore throat or nose bleeds.
