Flu
Flu (influenza) is a virus that causes an infection. Some flu symptoms can be very similar to those of a cold, like a headache, a runny nose and a sore throat. But, you can also get aching muscles and a high temperature, and will probably feel very tired.
Flu is much more serious than a cold, and it is caused by a different virus. You usually get better after a few days of resting in bed and taking medicines that will help with some of the symptoms.
If you have asthma or diabetes though, flu could make you very sick, so you must make sure you get an injection from your doctor to give you immunisation against this virus.
