Your endocrine system helps to keep your body working steadily and properly. It has lots of different jobs, including helping with digestion, bone growth, making blood and fighting diseases.

It is responsible for things in your body that happen slowly, like your cells growing. Your endocrine system sometimes works together with your nervous system. The two systems are linked by your pituitary gland.
