Your digestive system is where digestion happens. The main part of it is a long tube called the alimentary canal. This goes from your mouth to your anus and is made up of your mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine.

Your teeth, tongue, salivary glands, liver, pancreas and gall bladder are all joined to your alimentary canal. They all help with digestion too.
