Dermis
Explanation

The dermis is the middle layer of your skin. It grows the hair that helps keep your body warm, and also contains sweat glands, which help you sweat, so you can cool down on a hot day. The dermis contains a huge network of nerves that covers your entire body. When you touch something, these nerves send the information to your brain, so that your brain can then let you know what you are feeling. Blood vessels in the dermis carry blood, nutrients and white blood cells to your skin.
