Clot
Explanation

A clot is a plug that fills a cut or a tear in a blood vessel. This stops you bleeding and lets the blood vessel start to heal. Blood clotting starts with platelets, which stick together and form a net to cover the tear.Platelets are only small though, and the net is not very strong, so they need the help of clotting factors, or factors for short.
