Benign
Explanation

Benign means something that is growing slowly or won't do you much harm. You will often hear it used in connection with tumours, and in this case, benign also means non-cancerous.

Benign tumours won't spread to other parts of your body, but if they are in your brain they can still be dangerous because of the way they could squash other parts of your brain.
