Alveoli
-
+
Alveoli (one is called an alveolus) are little bubbles found at the end of your bronchioles and there are over 600 million of them! Carbon dioxide is carried through your blood from the rest of your body to the alveoli, where it is released. In return, your blood takes oxygen from the blood vessels in the alveoli and delivers that to the rest of your body.
