Abdomen
Explanation

Your abdomen is the part of your body between your chest and pelvis. Inside it are lots of organs - your stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, appendix, gallbladder, bladder and your adrenal glands.

These are all held in place by something called your peritoneum, which is like a kind of bag. This bag of organs is supported and protected by three layers of muscles, at the front, back and side of your abdomen.
