"What's Up with Ben? Medikidz Explain Autism" released for World Autism Awareness Day 2010.

The founders of Autism Sunday, parents and carers Ivan and Charika Corea, have endorsed the Medikidz Autism Comic book which is being launched to celebrate the United Nations World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April 2010. The comic "What's Up with Ben? Medikidz Explain Autism" (Paperback) is now on sale online. This is historic as it is probably the first ever comic book on Autism to be published in the United Kingdom. It is generating huge interest around the world.

Ivan Corea of UKAF said: 'I welcome this Medikidz comic book on Autism authored by Kim Chilman Blair. I showed the comic to our son Charin who has autism and he just loved the whole concept of the super heroes discussing what autism was all about. The last picture of the comic is also very moving because it is all about love.

We need to celebrate this on the United Nations World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April 2010 - many parents and carers fight so hard, lobby and campaign because they love their children. They may have the label of autism and Asperger's Syndrome but these children and adults are very special. We do this for love, not for the money. This is something we also shared on Autism Sunday 2010,'he said.
