Comic books that teach kids about their health were launched yesterday at a special party hosted by Archbishop Desmond Tutu.The Medikidz books aim to explain difficult medical problems in a clear style for youngsters.
They feature five superheroes - Pump, Skinderella, Chi, Gastronomic, Axon and Abacus.
Dr Tutu backed Medikidz - a charity set up by British doctors - and said: "It is extremely important that children feel reassured, informed and included during the diagnosis and treatment process."
