MediHealth - Lungs

Your lungs are like two big balloons that sit inside your chest. They automatically inflate and deflate every time you breathe. Air in your lungs goes through bronchi, which branch into bronchioles and end in alveoli. The larger bronchi are lined with muscle, and without this muscle layer, your lungs would deflate like a balloon does when you let the air out of it.
