MediHealth - Dehydration

You get dehydration if your body doesn't get enough water. It can make you feel very ill, especially if you have certain illnesses, like diabetes. When you sweat you lose water, so it is also easy to get dehydrated when it's hot. Your body's way of telling you that you need more water is to make you feel very thirsty, so make sure that you drink plenty!

Did you know? If the amount of water in your body is reduced by just 1%, you'll feel thirsty.
