Diagnosis
Your doctor will do a blood test, and if this shows that you have A HIGH number of faulty white blood cells and a LOW number of normal ones, he or she will then do a bone marrow biopsy. If you need a boost of normal white blood cells, you will probably have a blood transfusion.
